Scoring Rubric
Within the assessment window, you will find a Scoring Guide button in the top-right corner of the screen. Clicking this button opens a pop-up window with the scoring criteria for the specific assessment item you are currently administering. This provides a convenient, item-specific reference so you can score student responses without needing to consult the full scoring guide.
For a more comprehensive reference, you can also download and print the detailed scoring guide (PDF) from the LMS, which includes the complete scoring criteria for every assessment item.
The training course in the LMS provides additional guidance on the scoring process, including examples and explanations to help you apply the scoring criteria accurately and consistently.
How to enter scores
As the student responds to each assessment item, record their score by selecting the appropriate score icon located in the bottom left or right corner of the screen. Each item is scored on a scale of 1–4, based on the scoring criteria provided in the assessment.
If you need a reminder of the scoring criteria while administering the assessment, click the Scoring Guide button in the top-right corner of the screen to view the rubric for the current item.
When the assessment is complete, click Submit. The student's scores will be automatically saved and added to the progress table.
